Will chiropractic hurt my animal?
Chiropractic care, when performed correctly does not cause pain to your animal. They may show some mild discomfort up to 24 hours after an adjustment, but this is due to their body re-adjusting. Mild muscle soreness should go away in 24 hours, although most animals do not experience any discomfort afterwards.

How often should chiropractic care be performed on my animal?
The frequency of adjustments will be determined at the time of your animal's initial visit. Most animals hold their adjustments longer then people, although some animals, based on diagnosis do require more frequent visits. On average, most patients are seen either on a monthly or every 2-3 month basis.

Will my animal need any care after their adjustment?
Your animal will not need special care after their adjustment. The only requirement is that they have "time off" for 24 hours, then can return to work after that. Movement is best post-adjustment, so we encourage you to walk your dog or allow turnout for your horse. This helps the animal adjust to the new way they feel after their adjustment.
